Home | News | Careers | Contact Us Think of Us as Your New Breast Friend Too many women over 40, as well as younger women at higher risk for breast cancer, aren’t keeping up with their annual mammograms, in spite of strong recommendations from the American Cancer Society. That’s unfortunate, because today’s medical technology can make the prognosis quite good when breast cancer is detected early. But if women delay mammograms or are inconsistent in having them, they risk finding cancer later, when it’s much more difficult to treat. Fortunately, the women in Mid-Michigan have access to the comprehensive breast services offered by RMI.
